Bredlau, George (1907 - 1983)
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 1983, at Rinka
Funeral Home, Loyal, for George Bredlau, 76, of Route 3,
Neillsville, Clark County.
Mr. Bredlau died Thursday, July 21, 1983, at 3 a.m., at Memorial
Hospital, Neillsville.
Officiating at the service was Brian Kuchmichel of Marshfield.
Burial was in the Loyal Cemetery, with John Bredlau, Walter Hoover,
George Tarter, Walter Seeger, Russell Haslow and Gerald Schwantes
serving as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral Home handled
arrangements.
George Bredlau was born to John and Mary (nee Torch) Bredlau, on
April 27, 1907, in the Town of Beaver. He received his education at
a Town of Beaver School.
On June 3, 1931, he and Hilda Haslow were married at Withee. They
farmed in the townships of York and Lyon, and he also drove school
bus.
He had been supervisor for the York Town Board and president of the
County Farmers Union.
Surviving him are one son, Alfred of Neillsville three daughters,
Mrs. Walter (Eileen) Wucherpfennig of Spencer, Mars. Ray (Carol)
Wededkind of Neillsville and Mrs. Larry (Marian) Kadolph of Withee
one brother, Walter of Loyal two sisters, Mrs. John (Dorothy)
Haslow of Spencer and Mrs. Gerald (Edith) Berndt of Three Lakes,
Wis. and 12 grandchildren.
Preceding him in death was one daughter, Norma.
