Kocher, Cora (1889 - 1983)
Miss Cora Kocher, 94, formerly of Greenwood, Clark County, died
Monday, Aug. 8, 1983, at Marshfield Convalescent Center, at about
4:30 p.m.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1983, at Rinka
Funeral Home, Greenwood. Greyton Becker officiated and burial was
in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Cora Kocher was born on April 23, 1889, at Milwaukee to Lois and
Mary Kocher. She received her education at Milwaukee schools.
She came to Greenwood in 1911 and lived and farmed in the Town of
Warner for four years. She then farmed in the Town of Eaton until
1945, when she moved to Marshfield, where she worked for an egg
plant and Miller Cheese Co. until retiring. For the past four years
she has been at the convalescent center. She was never married.
She was a member of the Christian Scientist Church of
Marshfield.
Surviving her are one sister, Miss Peggy Kocher of Marshfield.
Preceding her in death were her parents three brothers and four
sisters.
Serving as pallbearers were Donald Lenz, Richard Rondorf, Al
Bushman, Roy Lenz, Richard Acker and Al Rondorf. Rinka Funeral
Home, Greenwood, handled arrangements.
