JOHN ECKDAHL
John A. Eckdahl, 65, Northfield, Minn.,
formerly of Owen, Clark County, died at his home on Monday, Nov.
13, 1995, of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). Funeral services
were held on Thursday, Nov. 16, 1995, at 1:30 p.m. at Christiania
Lutheran Church, Lakeville. Pastor Charles E. Von Fischer
officiated.
John A. Eckdahl was born on July 16, 1930, in Mound, to Gustaf and
Amelia E. (nee Hale) Eckdahl. He attended schools in Mound. On Jan.
27, 1951, he married Penny Carlson at St. John's Lutheran Church in
Mound.
Survivors include his wife, Penny Eckdahl, Northfield three sons,
Jack (Joan) Eckdahl, Lakeville, Minn. Jeff (Marie) Eckdahl,
Greenwood and Joe (Wendy) Eckdahl, Lakeville, Minn. six
grandchildren and two brothers, Carl Eckdahl, Maple Plain, Minn.
and Ray Eckdahl, Delano, Minn.
