Brezic, Mary (1891 - 1983)
Mrs. Mary Brezic, 92, formerly of Greenwood, Clark County, died
Friday evening, Sept. 23, 1983 at Memorial Home, Neillsville.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Monday, Sept. 26, 1983, at St.
Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Rev. Michael Mertens officiated
and interment was in Holy Family Cemetery, Willard.
Serving as pallbearers were Art Kolstad, Cyril Rakovec, John F.
Trunkel, Tony Gosar, Joe Udovich and Bob Goernce. Rinka Funeral
Home, Greenwood, handled arrangements.
Mary Marinshek was born in Austria on Sept. 16, 1891. She received
her education at Yugoslavia Schools.
She came to the United States in 1910. In 1912, she was married to
John Brezic at Milwaukee. They farmed for many years in the Town of
Mead, retiring in 1952 and moving to Greenwood.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Frank (Helen) Lamovec of
Greenwood three sisters, Mrs. Antonia Gorenc of Milwaukee and Louis
and Frances of Yugoslavia four grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren
and one great-great-grandchild.
Preceding her in death were her husband, John, in 1962 her parents
four brothers and one sister.
