Meinholdt, Josephine Ann (1910 - 1983)


Josephine Ann "Joann" Meinhold, 73, Willowbrook Apartments, Ripon, died at 7:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25, 1983, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

Mr. Meinholdt was born April 26, 1910, in Depue, Ill., the daughter of Joseph and Anna Rosinski. She was educated in Illinois Schools.

She was married on Feb. 2, 1946, to "Doc" Meinhold, who died in 1977. She had lived in Greenwood, Clark County and was a nurses aide at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Congregational Church and the American Association of Retired Persons.

Mrs. Meinholdt is survived by two daughters, Ida Simonson of Ripon and Sue Gron of Berwyn, Ill. three grandchildren three sisters, Estelle Stybur of Chicago, Ginger Lesniak of Billings, Mont. and Helen Budnick of Spring Valley, Ill. four brothers, Ed Rosinski of Depue, Ill., Felix Chieshelski of Little Rock, Ark. And Val Chieshelski of Chicago, Ill., and John Chieshelski of Lisle, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28, at the First Congregational Church, Ripon. Rev. Allan Martling officiating and burial was in the West Side Cemetery, Greenwood.
