Stock, Nora (1894 - 1983)
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 1, 1983, at
Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal, for Mrs. Otto (Nora) Stock, 89, of 107
W. Mill St., Loyal, Clark County.
Mrs. Stock died at Memorial Home, Neillsville, on Monday, Nov. 28,
1983, at 10:30 a.m. of a stroke.
Officiating at the service will be Rev. Joseph R. Kraly. Burial
will be in the Loyal Cemetery.
The body will lie in state at Rinka Funeral Home after 4 p.m. on
Wednesday.
Nora Anna Amanda Wilbert was born to Peter and Bertha (nee
Wilhelmi) Wilbert on Feb. 25, 1894, at Dorchester. She was educated
at Wis. Common School District No. 7, Town of Mayville, Clark
County.
She and Otto A. Stock were married on June 4, 1913, at St. Peter
Lutheran Church, Dorchester.
They lived on a farm near Curtiss after their marriage. Their first
child was born there. On year later they moved to Abbotsford where
their second child was born. Two years later they moved to
Marshfield. On April 1, 1925, they moved to Loyal. She moved to
Memorial Home at Neillsville from the Memorial Hospital, which she
entered in Nov. 1981.
She was a member of the Ladies Aid, Missionary Society, ALCW, TLCW
and Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Roy (Alene B.) Schroeder of
Loyal and Mrs. Julius (Nina E.) Nysted of South Flagstaff, Ariz.
seven grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death besides her husband, Otto on July 15, 1976,
were her parents one step-sister one brother and one sister.
Serving as pallbearers were David McKenna, Walter Krahn, Roy
Schroeder, Terry Schwieso, Dean Schwieso and Duane Schroeder. Rink
Funeral Home, Loyal, is in charge of arrangements.
