Hoeper, Violet (29 April 1928 - 20 MAY 1987)
Violet Hoeper, 59, of Route 1, Greenwood, town of Eaton, died at
1:42 p.m., Sunday, May 17, 1987, at St. Joseph's Hospice Unit.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 1987, at Grace
United Methodist Church, Greenwood. Reverand Kevin Field officiated
and burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers
were Dennis Syth, Marty Nigon, Dale Horn, Charles Lindner, Jim
Herdrich and Donald Lindner. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, handled
arrangements.
Violet Tieman was born to Donald Sr. and Lydia (nee Wessel) Tieman
on April 29, 1928, at Stanley. She graduated from Greenwood High
School in 1946 and Stevens Point University in 1948. She was a
rural school teacher at Owen-Withee School.
Surviving her are her husband, Charles three sons, Rodney of
Greenwood, Jeffrey of Greenwood and Todd of Marshfield two
daughters, Mrs. Thomas (Susan) Pankraz of Washburn and Tami of
Greenwood eight grandchildren three brothers, Donald of Rock Dam,
Robert of Watersmeet, Mich. and Roger of Chicago, Ill. and one
sister, Mrs. Lila Oelhafen of Neillsville.
