Glenn R.Suckow, 69, Neillsville,died on
Sunday, Feb.3, 2002,at Saint Joseph 's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Feb.7,at St.
John 's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville. The Rev. Timothy
Biebert will officiate. Music will be provided by Judy Trunkel,
organist, and the children of St. John 's as the choir. Burial will
be in the town of Grant cemetery. Pallbearers will be David
Grottke, Clay Haunschild, Bradley Marg, Kenneth Marg, Steve Marg
and Tim Oldham.
Glenn Roy Suckow was born on April 21,1932,in the town of Grant. He
attended the Reed School and graduated from Neillsville High
School. After finishing his schooling, he joined his father working
at Roy Suckow Shop and Feed Mill on Highway 10,east of Neillsville.
In 1952,he joined the National Guard and served for nine years. He
married Janice Tews on Oct.7,1961,at St. John 's Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Neillsville. He retired in 1961,and eventually
took over ownership of the shop and feed mill. He was a member of
St. John 's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville.
Survivors include his wife, Janice one daughter, Lynn (Ed)
Crothers, Neillsville two granddaughters, Katelyn and Megan
Crothers, Neillsville one sister, Linda (Roger) Grottke,
Neillsville and one uncle, Vernie Suckow, Neillsville.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
The Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville, is assisting the family with
arrangements.
