Beverley J.Beaver, 70, Loyal,died on
Saturday, Feb.9, 2002, in the emergency room at Saint Joseph 's
Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held
at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb.12, at St. Anthony 's Catholic Church,
Loyal. The Rev. Donald Wilger officiated. Burial was in St. Anthony
's Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Guy Beaver, James Snow,
Aaron Weyer, Jesse Beaver, Geoffrey Beaver and Ryan Beaver.
Beverley Jean Gregory was born on Feb.25,1931,in Berwyn, Ill., to
Theodore A. and Etta Mae (nee Beverley) Gregory. She was raised and
educated in the Loyal area, and graduated from Loyal High School in
1948.She married Donald Beaver in June 1949 at St. Anthony 's
Catholic Church, Loyal. She raised nine children and worked at the
Loyal Cannery during the summers. She and her husband later
divorced. She then moved to Neillsville, where she worked as a
nurse 's aide at Memorial Nursing Home for several years. She moved
back to Loyal and worked as a nurse 's aide at Colonial Manor
Nursing Home, Colby. She married John Beaver on Oct.4,1978,in
Neillsville. She retired and spent time traveling with her husband
to see her children. She resided in Loyal until the time of her
death. She was a member of St. Anthony 's Catholic Church. Her
interests included reading romance novels, writing letters and
spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John, Loyal three daughters, Therese
Hubbard, Didsbury, Alberta, Canada, Annette (Bruce) Daczyk, Stevens
Point, and Bonnie (Rev. William) Finn, Janesville six sons, Thomas
(Conde) Beaver, Portage, Dennis (Peg) Beaver, Phoenix, Ariz., Dean
(Amy) Beaver, Westfield, Lawrie (Jeannie) Beaver, Marshfield, Gary
(Heidi) Beaver, Westfield, and Doug (Jenny) Beaver, Oxford 26
grandchildren six step-grandchildren five great-grandchildren three
step-great-grandchildren two sisters, Sharon Durst, Sun Prairie,
and Donna (Tom) Froeba, Colby and one sister-in-law, Angie Gregory,
Granton.
Preceding her in death were her parents two granddaughters and one
brother, Arthur Gregory.
Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal, assisted the family with
arrangements.
