Rantz, Arthur (1860 - 1881)
Arthur Rantz, aged twenty one years, died at the Rossman House
(Neillsville, Clark County) yesterday, of congestion of the lungs.
His parents lived at Fremont, Ind., the deceased being a resident
of Minnesota, from whence he came at the opening of the lumbering
season to work in the woods, finding employment with John Dwyer.
About two weeks ago he was taken with the measles and brought to
this place, receiving all that friendship and money could procure,
his uncle, a Mr. Powell, of Monroe County, having been notified of
his sickness and come up to take care of him, but to no avail.
