Luzovec, Frank (18 NOV 1905 - 6 APR 1985)
Frank (Shorty) Luzovec, 79, formerly of Willard, Clark County, died
Saturday morning at Neillsville Hospital, April 6, 1985.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, 1985 at
Holy Family Catholic Church. Burial was in the Willard Cemetery,
with Rev. James Lesczynski officiating. Pallbearers were David
Koschak, Bradley, Koschak, Donald Kirn, Roger Kirn, Robert Herrick
and John Zagozen, Jr.
Mr. Luzovec was born Nov. 18, 1905 in Ely, Minn. to John and
Frances (nee Oven) Luzovec. He was educated in Ely, Minn. schools.
On May 5, 1928 he married Frances Romosh in Waukegan, Ill. He
worked in Chicago at the steel mills until 1940, when he moved to
the Town of Warner, where they farmed until 1948. He then built
North Mound Tavern and store and operated that until 1964. He was
also employed with Plautz Bros. Since 1964 he lived in retirement
in the Town of Hendren. The past two years he has been living with
his daughter.
He was a member of the Holy Family Church and the SNPJ Lodge.
He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Betty Roberts, Neillsville
Mrs. David (Frances) Koschak, Gurney, Ill. one sister, Mrs. Louie
(Mary) Nowak, Owen one brother, John, Mead Lake seven grandchildren
and three great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife who died Dec. 8, 1981 one
daughter, Ruth, two sisters, Angeline and Sophia and one brother,
Joseph.
Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
