Florey, Harold E. (18 FEB 1926 - 29 APR 1985)

Harold E. Florey, 59, formerly of Rt. 2, Spencer, who has been residing at 719 Hickory St., Spencer, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield Monday evening, April 29, 1985.

Visitations will be at the Rux Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday, May 1. Graveside services will be at Green Hill Cemetery, Sullivan, Ill.

He was born Feb. 18, 1926 at Bethany, Ill. He married Carmen Guftin on Nov. 2, 1957. He farmed for 26 years and was a World War II Air Force veteran. He was a former Town of Sherman, Clark County board member of a number of years and also a farm bureau director for a number of years.

He is survived by his wife, one son, William D. Rozene of Tulsa, Okla. four grandchildren one great-grand-child, one brother, Robert Florey of Phoenix, Ariz. and one sister, Mrs. Ivan (Evelyn) Abbott of Sullivan, Ill.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Della (nee Smith) Florey.
