Hawley, James D. (8 FEB 1926 - 7 AUG 1985)


James D. Hawley, Milwaukee, formerly of Loyal, Clark County, passed away at the age of 59, Wednesday, Aug. 7, 1985 at his home. He was born Feb. 8, 1926 in Loyal. He attended schools in the Loyal area and graduated from Loyal High School. He served in Japan with the U.S. Army for two years. He had been employed by the Milwaukee Road, Milwaukee, for the past 25 years. He had never married.

Survivors include five sisters, Lois Tompkins, Osseo June Matowitz, Neenah Dawn Scheller, Loyal Sue Rudy, Crete, Ill. Doreen Newhouse, Menasha and three brothers, Jack, Wausau Tom, Nichols and dale, Mequon. One brother, Roger, and his parents, Lillian and Dale Hawley, preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held Saturday evening at 7:00 at the Borqwardt Funeral Home, West Allis and burial was in the Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.
