Brandt, Ione (19 APR 1905 - 12 AUG 1985)


Ione Brandt, 80, 109 N. Stafford, Greenwood, Clark County, died at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12, 1985 at Neillsville. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Aug. 15, at Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Charles E. Salitri will officiate. Pallbearers will be Robert Worden, Richard Kintzler, Art Wehrman, Earl Richardson, Frank Hrasky and Robert Branstiter.

Visitation will be at the Rinka Funeral Home after 4 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9:30 a.m. on Thursday at the church.

She was born April 19, 1905 in Loyal to William and Myrtia (nee Cook) Berrett. She received her education in rural Greenwood schools. On March 16, 1927 she married Oscar Brandt in Greenwood. After their marriage they farmed in the Town of Beaver until 1940, when they moved to Greenwood where they resided.

She was a member of the Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son, Nyle from Greenwood one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Romelle) Tomlinson, Waukesha and six grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar, May 27, 1984 her parents one sister one daughter and one grandson.
