Oblak, Gregory Vincent (7 JUN 1966 - 17 AUG
1985)
Gregory Vincent Oblak, 19, Rt. 1, Loyal, Town of Beaver, Clark
County, died around 9:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17, 1985 at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, as the result of a car/motorcycle
accident.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 21, 1985 at
St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Burial was in St. Anthony's
Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Lynch performed the service.
Pallbearers were Matt Bertz, Pete Fitzl, Jim Ditter, Tim Froeba,
Bob Froeba and Steve Hinker.
He was born June 7, 1966 in Windlake, Wis. He graduated from Loyal
High School in 1984. This past summer he was doing construction and
painting work and planned to enroll at Stout University in the
fall.
He is survived by his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Edward and Joan (nee
Meer) Oblak, Loyal two brothers, Edward J. and John, both of Loyal
four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Terry) Manthe, Spencer, Mrs. Jeff
(Cindy) Virosztke, Chicago, Julie and Jennifer, at home and his
grandmother, Mrs. Mary Oblak, Duluth, Minn.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Heidi, who died in 1978 and a
grandfather.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
