Djubenski, John (4 JUN 1910 - 24 OCT 1985)


John Djubenski, 75, Willard, Town of Mead, Clark County, died at his home Thursday, afternoon, Oct. 24, 1985. Services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, 1985 at Holy Family Church. Burial was in the Holy Family Cemetery.

Rev. James Lesczynski officiated. Pallbearers were Roger Djubenski, Andrew Djubenski, Raymond Djubenski, Eugene Djubenski, David Maslanka, and Terry Maslanka, nephews and brothers.

He was born June 4, 1910 in Kalamazoo, Mich. to Michael and Catherine (nee Zaranski) Djubenski. He received his education in North Mound School. He farmed all his life in the town of Mead. He never married.

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Rose Zalewski, Thorp, Mrs. Elmer (Antonia) Orth, Greenwood, Mrs. Felicia La Flex, Thorp, Mrs. Richard (Mary) Maslanka, Abbotsford and two brothers, Roger, Willard and Andrew of Greenwood.
