Orsburn, Ruth (28 JUN 1907 - 20 NOV 1985)
Ruth Orsburn, 78, Owen, Clark County, died Wednesday morning, Nov.
20, 1985 at Neillsville Memorial Home. Funeral services were held
Friday, Nov. 22, 1985 at 2 p.m. at Rinka Funeral Home. Burial was
in the Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Norbert Miller officiated.
Pallbearers were Glen Orsburn, Gary Lindgren, Gene Djubenski, Tracy
Djubenski, Larry Auman, and Mark Abel.
She was born June 28, 1907 in Clark County, Shortville, Wis. to Ben
and Eva (nee Dairy) Thomas. She was educated in rural Shortville
school. On Jan. 12, 1925 she married Bud Orsburn in Michigan. They
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1975. They farmed
all their married life in the town of Mean. In 1976 they moved to
the city of Owen. Since July she had been residing at the
Neillsville home.
She is survived by one son, Bernard, Owen, two daughters, Mrs.
Doris Auman, Willard, Mrs. Eugene (Eva) Bomback, Aurora, Ill. two
brothers, Charles, Milwaukee, Russell Thomas, Tulsa, Okla., seven
grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Bud, March 26, 1980.
