Johnson, Russell (10 APR 1905 - 6 DEC
1985)
Russell Johnson, 80, of Route 1, Loyal, Clark
County, died Friday morning, Dec. 6, 1985, at Neillsville Memorial
Hospital. The funeral was held at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity
Lutheran Church in Loyal. Rev. Joseph R. Kraly officiated and he
was buried in the Loyal Cemetery. Rinka Funeral Home was in charge
of arrangements.
He was born April 10, 1905 in Kenosha and married Elsie Asp on
Sept. 13, 1927 in Minneapolis. He received his education in Kenosha
schools and farmed in the town of Beaver until 1957 and then worked
for Rollohome in Marshfield for 11 years. He then retired.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie and one son, Russell Jr.,
Marshfield and three daughters, Mrs. Sidney (Beatrice) Euler, Rice
Lake Mrs. Bernard (Janet) Langreck, Marshfield and Mrs. Elmer
(Geraldine) Nebola, Bruno, Minn. 19 grandchildren, 28
great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ella (nee
Anderson) Johnson, two brothers and one sister.
Pallbearers were all grandsons, Kenneth Johnson, Daniel Johnson,
Mark Johnson, Tracy Euler, David Erickson, and Howard Nebola.
