Hardrath, Carl H. Sr. (24 MAY 1928 - 17 OCT 2001)
Carl H. Hardrath, 73, Abbotsford, died on
Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2001, in the emergency room of St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on
Friday, Oct. 19, at the Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford. The Rev.
Mark Neumann officiated. Burial was in Christ Lutheran Cemetery,
town of Holton.
Carl Henry Hardrath was born on May 24, 1928, in the town of Unity,
Clark County, to Roy and Leonora (nee Woempner) Hardrath. He
received his early education at Bruckerville School in the town of
Unity. He married Audrey Leu on May 19, 1951. Before retiring from
Weathershield, he was previously employed at the Riplinger Feed
Mill, Rollohome in Marshfield, Pathfinder in Spencer and Streckert
Mfg. in Abbotsford. He enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Audrey, Abbotsford five
children, Leonora (Harvey) Brzezinski, Abbotsford, Carl (Linda)
Hardrath, Jr., Abbotsford, Michael Hardrath, Abbotsford, Annette
(Darrell) Voss, Unity, and Albert (Diane) Hardrath, Colby eight
grandchildren, Jennifer (Greg) Hoefs, John Brzezinski, Jason
(Denise Wolf) Hardrath, Kelly (Mark Colby) Hardrath, Erin Hardrath,
Crystal (Donald) Skipper, Ashley Hardrath, and Miranda Hardrath and
three great-grandchildren, Tyler Hoefs, Brett Hoefs, and Cierra
Hardrath.
Preceding him in death were his parents, two brothers, and two
sisters.
Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford, assisted the family with
arrangements.
