Rogillio, Geneva A. (14 FEB

Geneva A. Rogillio, 88, Greenwood, Clark
County, died on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2001, at the House of the Dove
Hospice Home, Marshfield. Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., one
hour prior to the memorial service at 11 a.m., at St. Mary's
Catholic Church, Greenwood, on Thursday, Oct. 25. The Rev. Joseph
Follmar will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Fiene,
Mark Fiene, Paul Fiene, Teri Mueller, Anne Murphy, Mark Stiefvater
and Scott Stiefvater.
Geneva Alberta Kitzhaber was born on Feb. 14, 1913, in Ryan, Iowa,
to Lawrence and Mabel (nee McDowell) Kitzhaber. She moved with her
family to Greenwood in 1920, where she attended St. Mary's
Parochial School. After her education, she worked on the family
farm. She married George Stiefvater on Sept. 22, 1932, at St.
Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. He died on Jan. 24, 1942.
Following his death, she worked at the Framers Store, Greenwood.
She married Gregory Rogillio on Sept. 4, 1948, at St. Mary's
Rectory in Greenwood. She continued to work at the Farmers store
until its closing in 1972. Her husband died on July 3, 1992. She
enjoyed crafts, sewing, traveling and was a member of St. Mary's
Catholic Church, St. Ann's Society and St. Lucy Group.
Survivors include two sons, Bernard Stiefvater, Orinda, Calif., and
Thomas Stiefvater, South Padre Island, Texas one daughter, Janet
(Donald) Fiene, Adams seven grandchildren four great-grandchildren
three brothers, Raymond (Mary Ellen) Kitzhaber, Mosinee, Bernard
(Pat) Kitzhaber, Greenwood, and Ronald (Bonnie) Kitzhaber,
Greenwood five sisters, Catherine (Richard) Deiler, Marshfield,
Lorraine (Michael) Klapatauskas, Marshfield, Dolores (Cal)
Cornwell, St. Paul Park, Minn., Peggy (Wally) Brey, Neillsville,
and JoAnn (Jim) Suda, Gurnee, Ill.
Preceding her in death were her parents her first and second
husbands one daughter, Mary Jo Stiefvater on Sept. 3, 1944 one
brother, Elmer Kitzhaber and one sister, Loretta Verhalen.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be give to St. Mary's Catholic
Church or the House of the Dove Hospice Home.
Cuddie Funeral Home, Greenwood, is assisting the family with
arrangements.
