Toltzman, Herman A. (17 AUG 1895 - 25 FEB
1984)
Herman A. Toltzman, 88, of 302 Dearborn St.,
Spencer, died at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, on Saturday,
Feb. 25, 1984.
Services were at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 29, 1984, at Trinity
Lutheran Church, Spencer. Rev. William Ruhbusch officiated and
interment was in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Rux Funeral
Home, Spencer, handled arrangements.
Herman Toltzman was born to August and Wilhelmina (nee Malthe)
Toltzman on Aug. 17, 1895, in the Town of Unity, Clark County. He
and Elsie Rohloff were married at trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal,
on June 25, 1919. They farmed in the Town of Unity from 1919 to
1957, when they retired and moved to Spencer.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, held various
offices and was a Lutheran Laymen League Member. He was also a
member of Spencer Senior Citizens.
He is survived by his wife four sons, Eldred of Melrose Park, Ill.,
Raymond of Spencer, Delmar of Spencer and Ronald of Las Vegas, Nev.
15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents three brothers and one
sister.
