Meyers, Lois (19 SEP 1931 - 5 FEB 1984)


Mrs. Lois Meyers, 52, Route 1, Greenwood, Clark County, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 1984, at 7:50 p.m., at St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Services for Mrs. Meyers were at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 8, 1984, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Greenwood. Rev. Sam Kochel officiated and burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery.

Lois Wolf was born on Sept. 19, 1931, at Oshkosh, Winnebago County, to Arnold and Ruby (nee Withrow) Wolf. She was educated at Oshkosh.

She and Leneil Meyers were married on April 24, 1953, at Oshkosh. After their marriage, they lived in Markesan for three years before moving to Greenwood.

She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, ALCW Ladies Aid and the Greenwood Library Board.

She is survived by her husband, Leneil four daughters, Mrs. Harvey (Joan) Hukari of San Francisco, Mrs. David (Fern) Hansen of Greenwood, Mrs. David (Cindy) Esselman of Loyal and Julia, at home one brother, Fred Wolf of Oshkosh and three grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother.

Earl Caliebe, Knute Wallin, Norman Mayenschein, Jim Turnquist, Dick Braun and Bob Bartelt served as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood, was in charge of arrangements.
