Thwing, Henry H. (28 JUL 1902 - 6 MAR
1984)
Henry H. Thwing, 81, of 137 Harriet St.,
Clintonville, died on Tuesday, March 6, 1984, at Clintonville.
Funeral services were held on Friday, March 9, 1984, at the
Eberhardt Funeral Home in Clintonville. Rev. Bruce Beyer of
Christies Lutheran Church officiated. Interment was in the
Graceland Cemetery, Clintonville.
Henry Thwing was born on July 28, 1902, in Greenwood, Clark
County.
He served in World War II, then worked in the Clintonville area
where he married Nora Knack in July 1945, at Clintonville. They
moved to the Loyal area, where they were engaged in farming for 13
years. They lived for brief periods in Greenwood and Abbotsford
before moving to Clintonville in 1963.
He is survived by his wife one sister, Mrs. Albert (Bernice) Ehlert
of Owen by step-daughters, Mrs. Perry (Eleanor) Stichman, Billings,
Mont. Mrs. George (Betty) Burkhart of West Chicago, Ill. step-sons,
Otto Knack of Weyauwega, Wis. Robert Knack, Upper Marlboro,
Maryland Milton Knack, Loyal, as well as by several nieces and
nephews, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one sister, four brothers
and one step-daughter.
