Shober, Casper (10 MAR 1904 - 10 MAR
1984)
Casper Shober, 80, of 315 Division, Loyal,
Clark County, died Saturday, March 10, 1984, at 5:30 p.m., at St.
Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield.
Funeral services for Mr. Shober were at 11 a.m., Tuesday, March 13,
1984, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Loyal. Rev. James Logan
officiated.
Interment was in the parish cemetery with nephews, John Kohlnhofer,
Clayton Kohlnhofer, Frances Kohlnhofer, Scott Zupanc, Harold Paasch
and Joe Zupanc Jr. serving as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral Home,
Loyal, handled arrangements.
Casper Shober was born to John and Katherine Shober at Milston,
Wis., on March 10, 1904. He was educated at Greenwood Schools.
He and Caroline Zupanc were married on Sept. 29, 1937, at Willard.
After their marriage, they farmed in the Town of Loyal until 1959,
when they retired and moved to the City of Loyal.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
Surviving him are his wife one brother, Tony Shober of Loyal and
one sister, Mrs. Margaret Kohlnhofer of Greenwood.
Preceding him in death were his parents two brothers and three
sisters.
A 3:15 Parish Council of Catholic Women Rosary and an 8 p.m. Prayer
Service were conducted on Monday evening at the Rinka Funeral Home,
Loyal.
