Mitchell, Mary (8 MAR 1909 - 18 APR 1984)
Mrs. Sherman (Mary) Mitchell, 75, of Route 1,
Loyal, Clark County, died at 4:55 p.m., Wednesday, April 18, 1984,
at the Marshfield Convalescent Center.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, April 21, 1984, at
the Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton. Rev. C. Arlene Denzer
officiated and burial was in the Windfall Cemetery.
Mary Bruckner was born on March 8, 1909, at Iowa. She and Sherman
Mitchell were married at McGregor, Iowa. They lived in Iowa until
1944, when they moved to a farm in the Town of Levis. They later
moved to the Marshfield and Loyal areas.
Surviving her are four daughters, Mrs. Richard (Sherman) Hart of
Neillsville, Glenda Mitchell of Loyal, Mrs. Gordon (Linda) Nelson
of Loretta, Wis. and Mrs. John (Lois Jean) Schmidt of Boscobel,
Wis. four sons, Dale, Gary and Steve, all of Marshfield, and
Kenneth of Auburndale 35 grandchildren and 25
great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, on Aug. 5, 1969 and one
brother.
Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, handled arrangements.
