Rusch, Donald B. (24 JUN 1916 - 10 MAY 1984)


Donald B. Rusch, age 67, of 505 W. Sixth St., Neillsville, Clark County, formerly of Withee, died early Thursday, May 10, 1984, at his home. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, May 14, at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Longwood. Rev. Richard E. Sorenson and Rev. David Wenger will officiate and burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at Withee.

Maurina Funeral Home in Owen is in charge of arrangements. Sons and sons-in-law will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Rusch was born June. 24, 1916, at Glendive, Mont., to Bernard R. and Grace (Bunten) Rusch. He married Charlotte Miller March 29, 1949, in Glendive. He lived in the rural Thorp area for a short time, then worked for Atlantic and Pacific Railroad in North Dakota. He farmed in the Town of Longwood from 1954 until moving to Neillsville in Nov. 1983. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Longwood.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte, three daughters, Mrs. Glen (Susan) Krause, Milwaukee Mrs. Gordon (Barbara) Finkelson, Withee Mrs. Steven (Beverly) Kelley, Greenwood four sons, LeRoy James Rusch, Chippewa Falls Bernard and William Rusch, Withee Donald Rusch, Jr., Marshfield one brother, Kenneth Rusch, Thorp two sisters, Mrs. Willard (Joyce) Claussen, Thorp Mrs. Peter (Ruth) Brooker, Phoenix, Ariz. and nine grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother in infancy.
