Miskanis, Keith Roger (26 JUN 1956 - 10 MAY 1984)

Keith Roger Miskanis, age 27, Route 3, Greenwood, Clark County, formerly of rural Owen, died in an automobile accident about 5 miles north of Greenwood on Highway 73 in the Town of Warner at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 1984.

Services were held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 12, 1984, at St. Katherine's Episcopal Church in Owen. Officiating at the ceremony was Fr. Lawrence Rowe. Visitation was after 6:30 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 1984, at the Maurina Funeral Home in Owen. Interment was at the Riverside Cemetery in Withee.

He was born June 26, 1956, in Chicago. His parents were Robert and Nioma (Turenne) Miskanis. He married Betsy Sillampa on April 16, 1983, at Owen. He was a graduate of Steinmertz High School in Chicago.

He had farmed in the Owen area since 1980 and resided the past year in Greenwood. Survivors are his wife, Betsy, his parents, Mrs. and Mrs. Robert Miskanis, Owen, one brother, David Miskanis, Spencer, Grandfather, Peter Turenne, Owen, Grandmother, Mrs. Martha Miskanis, Chicago.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Pallbearers were Glen Turenne, Glen G'Dula, Dennis Henke, Allan Cihlar, Chuck Sillampa, and Rick Haas.
