Bertz, Harold (29 JUL 1907 - 3 JUN 1984)
Harold (Pat) Bertz, 76, Route 2, Town of
Loyal, Clark County, died Sunday evening, June 3, 1984.
The funeral service was held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, June 6, 1984,
at Rinka Funeral Home, Loyal. Burial was in the Loyal Lutheran
Cemetery. Rev. Joseph R. Kraly officiated. Serving as pallbearers
were Elmer Gotter, Garland Bentzler, Tom Loos, John Bertz, Robert
Bertz and David Bertz.
Mr. Bertz was born July 29, 1907 in the Town of Loyal to Joe and
Mary (nee Bruce) Bertz. He received his education in the rural
schools of Loyal. On Aug. 27, 1936, in Loyal, he married Elaine
Lucht. He was a livestock dealer for many years and in 1968
retired.
Preceding him in death are five brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are his wife Elaine one son, Gary of Valencia, Cal. one
brother, Leo of Suring, Wis. two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Gwendolyn)
Strathman of Colby, Wis. and Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Eggersted of
Florida also two grandchildren.
Rinka Funeral Home handled arrangements.
