Loos, Alex (15 NOV 1905 - 6 JUN 1984)
Alex Loos, 78, Route 2, Loyal, Clark County,
died Wednesday evening at 11:28, June 6, 1984, at St. Joseph's
Hospital, Marshfield of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services were officiated by Rev. James Logan at 11:00 a.m.,
Saturday, June 9, 1984 at St. Anthony's Church, with burial in St
Anthony's Cemetery. Pallbearers include his grandchildren, Randy
Hinker, David Hinker, Dean Hinker, Steve Hinker, Kevin Noeldner,
and Michael Radosevich.
Mr. Loos was born on Nov. 15, 1905 in Kiel, Wis. to Conrad and
Elizabeth (nee Schnell) Loos. The family moved to Greenwood in 1908
and then to Loyal when he was 15. He received his education in
rural and parochial school in Greenwood.
On June 12, 1934 he married Hilda Stutte at St. Anthony's Church.
They would have celebrated their Golden Wedding Anniversary on
Sunday. He farmed in the Town of Loyal for 50 years and the last
few in semi-retirement.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and the Knights of
Columbus.
He was preceded in death by a son in infancy four brothers and two
brothers in infancy.
Surviving are his wife, Hilda five daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Marlene)
Hinker of Greenwood, Mrs. Gene (Marilyn) Hinker of Loyal, Mrs.
Nathan (June) Noeldner of Loyal, Mrs. Donald (Sharon) Radosevich of
Manitowoc, and Mrs. William (Janet) Berry of Marshfield two
sisters, Mrs. Viola Becker of Loyal, and Mrs. Dorothy Boulanger of
Chetek three brothers, Reuben of Chicago, Jerome from St. Charles,
Ill., and Gilbert of Loyal nineteen grandchildren and one
great-grandchild.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
