Heiking, Vera (22 MAY 1896 - 12 JUN 1984)
Vera Heiking, 88, 211 S. Main, Loyal, Clark
County, died Tuesday evening, June 12, 1984, at the Neillsville
Hospital.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 16 at the Rinka Funeral
Home, with burial in the Loyal Cemetery. Rev. C. Arlene Denzer
officiated. Pallbearers were Harry Marvin, Harold Gardner, Elmer
Gotter, Harold Kollmansberger, Lawrence Cox and Edgar
Federwitz.
Vera was born May 22, 1896 in the Town of York to George and Linda
Gardner. She moved to the Loyal area in 1908, and in Nov. 1914 she
married Fred Heiking. After her marriage she farmed in the Town of
Beaver and Town of Loyal. They sold their farm in 1956 and moved to
the City of Loyal.
She was a member of United Methodist Church, and a 50 year member
of Royal Neighbors.
She is preceded in death by her husband Fred who died April 11,
1978 her parents one brother and a baby sister.
She is survived by her nephews and nieces.
Rinka Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
