Severson, Luella (1 NOV 1901 - 24 JUN
1984)
Mrs. Luella Severson, 82, of Route 3,
Greenwood, Town of Beaver, Clark County, was found dead Sunday
afternoon, June 24, 1984, at Rinka Funeral Home, Greenwood.
Officiating will be Carl Swarr of West Beaver Community Church and
Rev. Dennis Thomas, pastor of Christian Missionary Alliance Church,
Owen. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Luella Stabnow was born on Nov. 1, 1901, to August and Rachael (nee
Ward) Stabnow in the Town of Beaver. She attended the LaTart School
in the Town of Beaver.
On June 8, 1921, she and Vern Severson were married in the Town of
Beaver. They farmed for many years in the Town of Beaver. He died
on April 4, 1984.
She was a member of the West Beaver Community Church.
Surviving her are two sons, Lester of Greenwood and Douglas of
Schaumburg, Ill. three daughters, Mrs. Vera Heck of Greenwood, Mrs.
Ralph (Ethel) Thomas of Loyal and Mrs. George (Alice) Scott of
Crystal Lake, Ill. 15 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother three sisters two
grandsons one great-grandchild and her parents.
Grandsons Leroy Fravert Jr., Ken, Dale and Ricky Severson, Harold
Heck, and Randy Scott will serve as pallbearers. Rinka Funeral
Home, Loyal, is handling arrangements.
