Horn, Ray (20 APR 1912 - 10 AUG 1984)
Ray Horn, 72, 511 Central, Loyal, Clark
County, died Friday evening, Aug. 10, 1984 at 6:10 p.m. at his
home.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at St.
Anthony's Catholic Church. Rev. James Logan officiated the service.
Pallbearers were Donald Carlson, Gerald Peterson, Allen Johnson,
Robert Schmidt, Dale Schmidt and Donald Schmidt.
Mr. Horn was born April 20, 1912 in Greenwood to John and Caroline
(nee Meyer) Horn. He received his education at a Greenwood area
school (Eaton Center). On Sept. 16, 1936 he married Margaret
Schmidt at Loyal. After their marriage they farmed in the Town of
York until 1967, when he retired and moved to the city.
He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by a half-sister and his parents.
Surviving are his wife one son, William of Loyal one sister, Mrs.
Elmer (Eleanor) Johnson of Malta, Ill. one brother, Dale Horn of
Greenwood two half-sisters, Mrs. Peter (Theresa) Danielson of Ill.
and Mrs. Clarence (Ann) Peterson, also of Illinois and two
grandchildren.
Rinka Funeral Home handled arrangements.
