Shupe, Glen (SEP 1893 - 17 SEP 1984)
Glen Shupe, 90, 207 S. Pearl St., Spencer, died Monday, Sept. 17,
1984 at 6:47 p.m. at the Marshfield Convalescent Center.
Funeral services were held at Spencer United Methodist Church on
Thursday, Sept. 20, 1984 at 1:00 p.m. Burial was in the West
Spencer Cemetery, with Rev. Kenneth Barnes officiating. Rux Funeral
Home in Spencer handled the arrangements.
Mr. Shupe was born Sept. 1893 at Loyal, Clark County to Frank and
Julia (nee Emerson) Shupe. In 1930 he married Margaret Ninam in
Neillsville. He was manager of the Spencer plant of O.W. Trindal
Co., Loyal for 31 years. He retired in 1960. He was a World War I
veteran, having served in France, he was a 32nd Degree Mason, and a
former member of the Loyal American Legion, and the Spencer School
Board for a number of years.
He was a member of the Spencer United Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, six sisters and one
brother.
He is survived by his wife two sons, William Shupe of Spencer,
Bruce Shupe of Marshfield one daughter, Mrs. Gilbert (Shirley)
Waldhart of Appleton one sister, Mrs. Elsie Ziemendorf of Greenwood
one brother, John Shupe of Berlin six grandchildren and six
great-grandchildren.
