Nysted, Julius M. (28 DEC 1913 - 24 FEB
2002)
Julius M. Nysted, 88, Flagstaff, Ariz., formerly of Loyal,
Clark County, died on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002. A memorial service was
held on Saturday, March 2, at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran
Church, Flagstaff.
Julius Martin Nysted was born on Dec. 28, 1913, in Colfax, to Peter
and Tilla Nysted. He married Nina Stock in 1935. They managed the
Stock Chevrolet Agency for a number of years until he was disabled
in a serious accident. They were members of Trinity Lutheran
Church, Loyal. They sold the business and home in Loyal in 1971 and
moved to Flagstaff.
Survivors include two daughters, Bette (Ron) Syth, San Jose,
Calif., and Karen (Larry) Davidson, Elk Grove, Calif. three sons,
Kenneth (Mary Ann) Nysted, Fort Atkinson, Timothy (Barbie) Nysted,
Fort Atkinson, and James Nysted, San Jose, Calif. 10 grandchildren,
Thomas Syth, Gilroy, Calif., Debra Bieber, San Jose, Calif.,
Rebecca McInnes, Elk Grove, Calif., Daniel Davidson, Fremont,
Calif., Joseph Davidson, Germantown, Md., Matthew Nysted, Kennesaw,
Ga., and Timothy, Peter, Andrew and Emily Nysted, Fort Atkinson 12
great-grandchildren two brothers, Leonard (Anita) Nysted and
Orville (Millie) Nysted and five sisters, Pearl (Jim) Ursin, Violet
(Burt) Finet, Wanda Auth, Mary Nysted and Jeanne (Ken) Dahlby.
Preceding him in death were his wife, Nina his parents one sister,
Margaret and one brother, Lyle.
