FRANK LAMOVEC


Frank G. Lamovec, 84, Greenwood, Clark County, died Monday, May 13, 1996, at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield. A memorial mass was held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 17, 1996, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard. Interment was in the parish cemetery.


Frank G. Lamovec was born on Nov. 1, 1911, in Eveleth, Minn., to Frank and Frances (nee Stabley) Lamovec. He married Helen Brezic on Nov. 16, 1940, in Willard. He was a lifelong resident and farmer in Clark County, retiring in 1973. He was a member of K.S.K.J. and served as the chairman of the Town of Hendren. He drove school bus for 34 years for the Willard and Greenwood school districts.


Survivors include his children, Judith Bauer, Thorp Jerry (Mary) Lamovec, Willard Mary (Lawrence) Hadzima, Neillsville and Germaine Lamovec, Milwaukee 1 grandchildren eight great-grandchildren two brothers, Philip Lamovec, Willard and Henry Lamovec, Eau Claire and one sister, Mary Koschak, Willard


He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, in 1983 his parents one brother and one sister.
