Payne, Sidney (1851 - 10 NOV 1881)

Died, at his home in this village (Neillsville, Clark County), on Sunday evening, the 6th of Nov., 1881, Mr. Sidney Payne, aged 30 years.

Mr. Payne has been a resident of this place the past ten years and was well and favorably known as a skillful and industrious mechanic and a man of very generous impulses. He had been troubled nearly all summer with enlargement of the heart, from which he died. He leaves a wife and one child, a son. His funeral took place from the Presbyterian Church on Wednesday.
