FORMER YORK MAN ACCIDENT VICTIM

 

Lyle E. Voigt


Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 30, at the Georgas-Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville for Lyle E. Voigt, 41, of Sparta, and formerly of route 1, Neillsville, Clark County, who died at Baptist Hospital, Memphis, Tenn., Wednesday, Aug. 27, 1975. The Rev. Eugene Carlson, Loyal, officiated and burial took place in the York Center Cemetery.


Mr. Voigt, a pilot, had been working in Tennessee as a crop duster, and suffered effects of a chemical used in the spraying. He was hospitalized Monday for treatment.


Lyle Edward Voigt was born Dec. 14, 1933, in the Town of York and received his education there, and at Loyal High School.


Survivors include his father, Ed Voigt, Neillsville a sister, Mrs. Charles (June) Kruger, Centerville, S.D., and two brothers, Mervin Voigt, Picorivera, Calif., and Harvey Voigt, Round Lake, Ill.


He was preceded in death by his mother.
