Clinton, Stella Rodman (1862 - 15 MAY
1885)
Died, at the residence of her parents, in the town of Pine Valley,
Clark County, Wis., May 15th, 1885, Mrs. Stella Rodman Clinton,
wife of George D. Clinton, aged 23 years.
She was the daughter of L. W. and D. J. Rodman, AND HAD LIVED IN
Pine Valley from her early childhood. On the 25th of June 1884, she
was married to Mr. G. D. Clinton, with a fair prospect of a long
and useful life. But instead of a fulfillment of this cherished
hope, the past year has been to her one of much affliction. And yet
to many her death seemed very sudden. Her funeral was attended on
Saturday last from the Presbyterian Church of Neillsville, Rev. W.
T. Hendren officiating. Happy and hopeful in life, as well as
patient in suffering, her memory will be cherished by the entire
circle of friends and school mates. The husband and friends have
the sympathy of the community.
