Campbell, Archibald (1832 - 8 MAR 1886)
Died, at his residence near Kurth's Corners, Clark County, Monday
night, March 8, 1886, Mr. Archibald Campbell of cancer in the stomach,
aged 53 years.
The deceased was a member of the A.O.U.W. of this city, and that
order has attended to his wants as nurses for the past six weeks as
brothers should do. He was buried by the Order today, the funeral
service being held at the Presbyterian Church. The exercises were
very impressive and the funeral was largely attended. Mr. Campbell
leaves a wife and two children to mourn his loss, Mr. Ed Campbell,
the talented young lawyer of this city, and Mrs. Ed Bruley. He is
also mourned sincerely by his old friends, whose yearly gatherings
he has been wont to attend, but whose numbers have been sadly
diminished by death during the past year.
