Walker, J.B. (1826 - 7 JUL 1886)
Died, in Jefferson, Wis., Mr. J. B. Walker, on Wednesday, July 7,
1886, at the age of 60 years.
Mr. Walker was the father of Mrs. I. T. Carr, of this city
(Neillsville, Clark County). His death was caused by falling in a
barn where he was engaged in putting up a horse hay fork. He seized
with a fainting spell, owing to the intense heat where he was at
work, and fell to the barn floor, about 30 feet, and was instantly
killed. He was one of the oldest settlers of the county, a good
citizen, and was held in high esteem by all who knew him.
