Lavine, Olive (13 JUN 1819 - 28 SEP 1887)
Died, in the town of Weston, Clark County, Wednesday, Sept. 28th,
1887, Olive, wife of Frank Lavine, aged 68 years, 3 months and 15
days.
The deceased has been a resident of this place from the early days,
and was a woman of great energy and perseverance, and had become
endeared to a large circle of acquaintances. Many remember her
kindly ministration in times of sickness, and endeavored to show
their gratitude by friendly offices in the time of her affliction.
How fully was realized in her case the truth of the divine words,
"With what measure you met it shall be measured to you again." Her
sufferings were intense but with calm resignation she bade adieu to
her loved ones, and accepted death as a sweet release from
pain.
