Metcalf, Howard (1870 - 26 FEB 1889)
Died, Tuesday,
Feb. 26, 1889, of lung fever, at the home of his father, Andrew
Metcalf, in the town of Hewett, Clark County, after a short
illness, Mr. Howard Metcalf, aged eighteen years.
Howard was a fine young man and had the respect and confidence of
all who knew him. It is a sad and early ending of a life that gave
promise of great usefulness in the future. After life's fitful
fever he sleeps well.
