Hatch, James (1845 - 7 AUG 1889)

James Hatch, of Christie, Clark County, who went to Tacoma, Wash., recently died in the city on the 7th of Aug., 1889. The Tacoma Daily News of the 9th contains the following notice relating to his funeral.

" The funeral of James K. Hatch, who died, suddenly of heart disease at his home in the southern part of the city, early Wednesday morning, was held from the residence yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Simms, of the South Congregational Church, officiated. Mr. Hatch came to Tacoma from Neillsville, Wis., last April. He was 44 years of age, and left a wife and two children. Among those who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Kerns, of Neillsville, who were in the city, and Mr. and Mrs. Davidson and Mr. N.B. Manes, formerly of Neillsville."
