Brown, Lydia (1837 - 11 FEB 1890)
Mrs. Lydia Brown,
wife of Sidney Brown, of East Weston, died Tuesday, Feb. 11th,
1890, at her home, after a brief illness, aged 52 years.
Mrs. Brown was a native of Vermont, and had been a resident of
Clark County for nearly eight years. She leaves a husband, two
sons, and three daughters. Her mother and sisters, four in number,
reside in Brown County, Wis., except one who resides in this
county.
Mrs. Brown was a good, reliable woman who made good her profession
of religion. Her funeral took place from the Christie school house
on Thursday, Rev. W. T. Hendren, of the Presbyterian Church, of
this city, officiating.
