Wildes, Mrs. R.J. (23 MAR 1828 - 26 JUN 1890)

Mrs. R.J. Wildes, mother of R. F. and W. H. Kountz, died in this city (Neillsville, Clark County), last Thursday, June 26, 1890, and was buried Friday, Rev. W. T. Hendren officiating.

Mrs. Wildes was born at Pittsburgh, Pa., March 23, 1828. She was thus over 62 years of age at her death. Mrs. Wildes was a school teacher in her younger days. She was a good woman who was much respected.

The funeral was largely attended. The members of the city council, besides other prominent business men and attorneys, were present to pay their respects to the memory of the mother of City Attorney, R. F. Kountz.
