Franks, Christopher David (17 Nov. 1977 - 6 Oct. 1993)
 

Christopher David Franks, 15, Willard, Clark County, died Saturday, Oct. 2, 1993, at Milwaukee Children's Hospital, Milwaukee.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, 1993, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood. Father Steven Baures officiated.
Pallbearers were David, Chuck, and Butch Jensen, Cindy Harding, Julie Mundahl and Amy Chartertier.

Christopher David Franks was born Nov. 17, 1977, in St. Louis Park, Minn., to David and Susan (nee Garner) Franks.

He attended school in Kasson, Minn., and Caledonia, before moving to the Greenwood area on July 15, 1993.

On Aug. 1 he became ill and entered St. Joseph's Hospital on Aug. 10. He was transferred to the Children's Hospital in Milwaukee on Aug. 17, where he was awaiting a heart transplant.

Survivors include his parents one brother, Nicholas, at home his grandparents, J. F. Garner, Elmore, Minn. and Rita Franks, Santa Barbara, Cal. an aunt, uncles, cousins and many special friends.
