Rather, Carl A. (30 MAY 1826 - 11 SEP 1890)

Carl A. Rather died at his home in the town of Levis, Clark County, Sept. 11, 1890, at five o'clock a.m., aged 61 years, 3 months and twelve days.

The deceased was born at Potsdam, Germany, May 30, 1926, and emigrated to Milwaukee Sept. 14, 1850. He removed to Clark County in Oct. 1878. He leaves a wife and ten children, five boys and five girls, all grown to manhood and womanhood. The remains were interred in the Levis Cemetery Sunday last.
