----Source: CLARK COUNTY REPUBLICAN PRESS (Neillsville, Wis.) 12/11/1890
McIntyre, Mary Aggie (11 MAY 1855 - 5 DEC 1890)
Died, at her home
in Neillsville, Clark County, Dec. 5th, 1890, of Pneumonia, Mrs.
Mary Aggie McIntyre, wife of James C. McIntyre, aged 35 years, 6
months and 25 days.
Her maiden name was Weaver. She was born at Morrisburgh, Dandas
Co., Ontario. Her marriage to Mr. McIntyre took place at Toronto,
April 27th, 1883. Soon after that she came to Neillsville, where
she has since made her home.
For two or three years her health has been very delicate, so that
she has frequently dispaired of life. Her last illness was quite
brief.
Her daughter Edith, aged seven years, is left behind in tender
childhood in care of the Good Shepherd of Israel.
As a Christian she retained her place in the Episcopal Church to
the day of her death, but for several years she had come under the
watchful care of the pastor of the Presbyterian Church.
Consequently the old pastor of this church was called to officiate
at her funeral on Monday of this week. The services were held in
the church, and were deeply impressive. Sweet songs and beautiful
flowers added to the occasion, and there was laid away in the
resting place of the dead, The remain of one whose memory is
cherished because of the nobility of her character and the purity
of her life.
