Noble, William (AUG 1844 - 24 DEC 1890)
Wm. Noble departed this life at his home
in the town of Loyal, Clark County, Wis., Dec. 24th, 1890.
He was born in Ontario, Canada in Aug. 1844. In 1871 he was married
to Miss Maggie McIntyre, and in May 1885, he moved to Clark County,
Wis., with his wife and three children. And her in his new home his
worth as a citizen was soon recognized, and his value as a friend
soon understood. He was a good farmer, and a man of good business
talent. As school clerk for six years, and as town treasurer for
three years won and retained the confidence of all. Deeply seated
were his moral principles and his religious convictions. A
Presbyterian by birth and training, he never allowed the strong
