Singer, G. ( - 6 JAN 1891)
Ira Fike brings us an account of a fatal accident to a neighbor of this in the town of Fremont, Clark County, which occurred last Saturday night. Mr. G. Singer, while returning from chopping in the woods, fell from the top of a fence, and received a fatal injury to his spine. He had laid for three hours when found by members of his household, who searched for him with a lantern. He was carried to the house, and Dr. Budge, of Marshfield, was called, but in spite of medical aid, he died Tuesday morning. Mr. Singer was an esteemed neighbor, and was in good circumstances. He leaves a wife and six children. His funeral occurs today.
